Hi, I am Andrew Valenta.

My career in photography began when I was handed a small 'point-and-shoot' camera at a family gathering at the age of 8, and from there it went from a minute of amusement to a lifetime of interest. My goal is to always explore and share the art inherent in everyday life, from the way shadows fall, to the way emotions are etched across the human face, to the intricate and interesting details of the natural and created world. Photos are much more than a way to preserve a scene that is in front of a lens- they are art as much as any painting or writing.
